Mowplayer offers the possibility of adding your own ads (Vast / Vpaid) to your videos, If you have access to Monetization platforms such as Adsense, Ad Manager or any SSP or any AdServer with video ads capabilities, you can take those codes and associate them with your videos in this section.

Keep in mind that if you are using our free version, not all your video traffic will be available for your ads, since our Marketplace will also be active.

Clarification : To define and configure the % of the marketplace available for your videos, you must connect with your Account Manager.

  • How to upload a Vast Tag

    Through the + Ad button you will access the area where you can load your ads and associate them with your videos.


    Name : First we must define a name which allows us to easily identify the ad.

    Add URL : we must place the VAST / VPAID tags that contain the audio and video ads.

    Behaviour : Here you define what type of content you want to associate with your Video ad, you can choose between Sync or Manual Mode.

    Synchronized mode : by selecting this option, the uploaded vast will be automatically associated with the videos under the chosen criteria, you also have the option of being able to apply it to existing videos.

    Manual mode : In this way you can select one by one the videos you want to associate with the vast. Another way to associate the ad is from the video editing area (link to Video editing).

    Mowplayer does not provide information about the performance of the ads added in this section. To know the volume of revenue generated by your own ads, you should check with the technology (Adserver or SSP) that is supporting the VAST / VPAID tags that you have used.
